little fanfare the Kokomo Parks and Recreation Board decided Wednesday to affirm a committees recommendation on the Seashore Swimming Pool and forward the matter to the city council for a final decision The committee appointed last fall by Mayor James Trobaugh has recommended that the city demolish the pool and build a new one on the existing location The committee fo on three issues while pondering the pools fate Whether the city needs to provide a pool fa to the community and if they thought so whether it be best to renovate the existing pool or construct a new facility The committee ultimately decided that repair ing the pool would not be cost effective Among the repairs needed for the pool on Kokomos west side were a new pool liner new concrete a fixed fence and an updated
