to secure such amendment Second That we urge upon our fol low directors greater attention to the sanitary condition of tho school rooms and in particular that greater attention be given to the condition of the out houses or water closets that they be neatly and comfortably built and pro vision bo made that they be scrupulous ly clean and to that end that they bo in spected daily by the toucher and at least once a month by some member of the of directors Third That in the directors annual county convention wo recognize a most potent means for the promotion of the welfare of our public schools and hereby pledge ourselves as members of thin con vention to use our influence to a still larger attendance at future Fourth That wo favor thn enactment of a law providing that no school dis shall receive a greater appropria tion of moneys from the than said district raises by direct taxation and that a copy of this resolution be handed to our members of legislature and they requested to nso their influence to secure the enactment of such a law Fifth That we hereby express our hearty appreciation of the lecture of Dr Riker beforo this convention on Whut Khali We Do With
