at Fair on Thursday BRIDGE CLUB MEET A event of last ev ening was the joint picnic held by the members of the Mr Learn and Miss Stewart Sabbath School clas ses of the First Presbyterian church held at White township home of Wil liam A The 125 persons who comprise the membership the class were met at the trolley station by automobiles and taken to the Evans home It was a most enjoy able and the hospitality of the Evans family was evidenced in the generous way in which the spring chicken watermelon and other de wore with belling and ef fect among the visitors The honor guests wore the Rev Dr and Mrs J R Zeigler and their family and and Mrs and their daughter Miss Lois Ear hart Rev being pastor of the congregation and Mr Earhart of the Sabbath School Lutherans PicNicked The members of Zion Lutheran Sabbath School held a picnic at the Grounds yesterday About 100 attended and a afternoon is The ladies who had charge of the luncheon handled the big crowd splendidly and everyone was filled Co P went on guard for 24 hours This ceremony was an impressive affair and Co F surely kept up its reputation The guard consisted of Lieut Mc Henry with Sergeant Timberlake Cor Matthews and Smith and 40 privates The ceremony was held on the par ade ground in front of the Colonels tent and Capt McLain was officer of the day The officer of te day rank ing next to the Colonel having change of the
