Years of Its Use DR HUTCHISONS REPORT Believing that the First United Pres church a new worship within the next hve years the trustees have decided to call a congre meeting at which the project will be considered Announcement of these plans was made by the pastor Dr J Day Brownlee previous to the communion services on Sabbath morn ing The 500 members of the congrega tion were asked to meet in the church auditorium on Tuesday evening Promi nent church officials will dwell upon the importance of erecting a new edi fice and if the congregation so de sires a permanent building committee will be selected This committee will have power to means for start ing and adding to a building fund The present home of Dr Brownlee a congregation ia one of land marks a U P church having stood on the site since 1827 The church was thrice rebuilt Some ago it was renovated in many ways but all the members realize that because I of the congregations growth a larger Viewer and finer edifice should house I
