Dublin Post-Man And The Historical Account (Newspaper) - May 15, 1810, Dublin, Dublin Ttt E AND The Hiftoricai Account, &c. Monday, May Che 15 th, 1710, Yefterday arrived One Packet from Great Britain, which brought One Holland Mail, viz;. ? Berlin ^ May 6. N. S. TH E King of PrufTia ex-preffed a great Joy, upon the firll advice he received, that the Confederate Troops were marched into the French Lines in the Netherlands, and declared, that he wifhed his Troops had been the firft that got thereinto. That Prince has fent Orders to his Recruits defigned for Italy, to march with all fpeed, and we are told General Arnheim, who Commands the Pruflian Forces in that Country, is ordered to march into Piemont, and join the other Confederate Troops, as ibon as he has received thofe Recruits. They write from Warfaw, thacKmg Au-guftus intends to fend his Saxon Troops to join the Mufcovite Army before Riga, and 'tis faid he will go thither in Perfon, but that is flill uncertain. Our laft AM vices from thofe parts fay, that all thing were in a readinefs to befiege that place, but that upon the Initances of the Minifters of Great Britain and Holland, the fame is not to be Bombarded, becaufe of the valuable Effects the Subjects of thofe Powers have therein. Some Advices fay, that the Muscovites have actually befieged Wyburg inCoar* land, which they expect to reduce in a fhort time, the place being ill provided, and that they intend afterward to attack Abo in Finland, of which we ihall have a more particular Account ia our next. Letters. From the Camp before Doway, May 12. Our heavy Artillery being for the moft part arrived, we hope to begin to morrow to batter the Defences of the Place, with. 48 Mortars on our Batteries; and notwithstanding Monfieur %Albergotv ti pretends to fignaiize himfelf by a long Defence, we hope this Siege will prove much fhorter than the Enemies imagine. The French de-fert in great numbers, and unani-moufly report that it js given out amongft their Troops, that the Marfhai de Villars.has .Orders to attempt the Relief of Doway, coffc what it will, and fight the Confederate Army whilft we are taken up with this Siege. This agrees v^ry well with'the Advices frmt the French Frontiers, which tell us, that all their Forces will 'join the 2othInftaat at the furtheft. The Body they have near Cambray has been reinforced with five Spanifh Regiments of Horfe but as they were not recruited they are reduced to two, and tjae Ofpcers of the "other three are incorporate into the fame as. well as the Troopers. The other .Body encamped near Landrechy has bren reinforced with the reft or the Troops that were quartered between the Sambre and the Maeze, and fome Regiments from the Pays-Meflin. Theyjiave another Camp near Guiche, con-filling .of the Troops that were quartered wkhin the Kingdom. Part of the Troops oithe Houfhold are at St.Quintin, and the reft near Perronne and Corbie. Mean time they are affembling all the Forage and Provifions they can get at Arras and Cambray, and we are told all their Forces are to join and form their
