Party on Thursday Leonard O Guenther was guest of honor at a party given at the Country club Thursday evening by members of the Commercial club There were about 70 present Presentation of a cameo stick from the club was made by Tom Dolan and a short tion was given by Mr Guenther Introduced was Mr Guenther's successor Mr Hanu Mr Guenther was president of the Commercial club this year His successor has not been ed as yet The Churches St John's Lutheran Church Vilmar J Willms Pastor Services in English next Sunday o'clock Sunday school at o'clock The Luther League meets next Country cub Thursday evening by council being re-elected at the annual meeting will be inducte into office next Sunday Society ant Clubs Methodist Church Bible study group meets at in the parsonage We ar inviting men and women of th congregation who are ready to plan for better service to the com munity to be with us The Epworth League will mee at p m Thursday in the north room to be led by Mrs Ho mer Lucas The choir practice follows at p m A junior chorus will prac tice with them to prepare for the Union evening service to be held in our church next Sunday Next Sunday evening Dr Ear nest C Parish of St Paul will bs our guest at the Union service A junior chorus and a minister's quartette will sing A song service will be conducted the pastor and everybody is ed to come and take part in it Church of
