ELUDES POLICE Clarence Seibert De- serts Farm House Officers Find Still 50 CHICKENS ON PROPERTY Clarence Seibert ginia who has been residing in Adams county at intervals during the past ten years and who has a criminal record eluded state police sought to arrest him Thursday on charges of stealing chickens He is accused of being the third ber of the gang suspected of eral robberies during the past eral months Two other members of the trio Percy Laughman of and William S Myers of were arrested by state lice Wednesday afternoon They entered pleas of guilty to four counts each and were committed to jail in default of bail each Seibert Is Laughman recently completed a prison sentence for chicken stealing and was on probation This is first offense Seibert police believe heard of the arrest of his gang members and fled before the troopers reached his place When the state police reached Seibert's farm house which is the property of Charles Bowman over they found a ten gallon still and all
