was critically injured Monday afternoon when his struck a school which was taking 41 students home from the Mount Airy Middle School All of the students sustained minor police and were treated at area hospitals by Richard T By MATT NEUFELD Staff One man was critically injured and 41 students from the Mount Airy Middle School received minor injuries when a car struck a school bus head-on Monday according to police and hospital officials Georgios Theodores of 4812 was listed in critical condition Tuesday morning at Florida man convicted third time for murder of Frederick woman By GEORGE DORSEY Staff Fla For the third a Florida man has been convicted in the murder of a former Frederick but this time for the crime of second degree murder Raymond Lee faces up to 99 years in prison without parole for his role in the brutal slaying of Miss Odette Kehne Reeder Sentencing was deferred for approximately two weeks Bruce father of the murder said jurors started deliberations around am to the U S Supreme Court but the case wasn't heard in time to block last week's trial The same judge who imposed the death penalty after the second trial will impose the penalty for second degree created a monumental hurdle for to overcome in obtaining any Reeder indicated The cost of prosecuting Drake three times may exceed hundreds of thousands of dollars Many key witnesses were flown mto into Drake's attitude during police interrogation Without proof of Drake's history of sexual battering women and prosecutors said they were unable to obtain a according to Bruce Reeder Reeder and his wife Odette spent the entire week in Florida watching for the third time as prosecutors attempted to convince jurors Drake had cold ly murdered their eldest daughter The crime was termed by Judge B J who presided at Drake's first as atrocious and The Reeders returned to Frederick County late Monday afternoon emotionally and according to Bruce Reeder In two Drake will be brought back in front of Judge Jerry Parker for sentencing He faces a potential term of 99 years without parole Odette Reeder the Maryland Institute for Emergency Medical Services Systems in Baltimore He was flown by a state
