Enterprises caused by rising fuel Prices will increase by per or 11 The contract Weldon signed with the city in September 2007 allowed for adjustments to be made as a result of increases in energy As you are no doubt fuel prices continue to spiral to historic lev Randy Weldon wrote in a letter to council Weldon Enterprises has acted in good faith to resist seek ing relief as long as we Weldon also addressed the council and stated the company has seen a 63 percent increase in diesel fuel since the contract was signed This is the first time in 30 years of doing business with Eudora that weve come in during a contract to ask for any thing like Weldon Its just kind of extraordinary circumstances that everybody is Weldon suggested a sliding scale depending upon fuel but City Administrator Cheryl Pyle Mayor Tom Pyle said he understood the need for the price adjustment because he has seen similar price increases from compa nies that make deliveries to and for his Nobody wants to pay but 1 dont Soto and City to raise sewer rates DAVID OAKES Eudora residents will see an increase in the cost of sewage within the next two months as a result of upgrades that need to be made to the wastewater According to the results of a waste water report by BG the system cannot handle flows during peak One of the ways that problem will be alleviated is through the wastewater lagoon and headworks which
