been in critical condition at the burn center since Aug 18 when he and two other youths were burned in a chemical explosion at the school Bruce Ward of Glenolden was still listed in critical condition at the burn center The third youth Kenneth mer of Essington suffered only minor burns on his hands as he tried to extinguish the burning clothing on the other two boys Inside the building at the time of the explosion a wall protected him from the ex- plosion Police said the youths were in- jured when they placed firecrackers inside a drum containing a chemical solvent The building purchased
