clean up their prem ises and put them in a sanitary con dition or have action taken by the state health department A few nights ago Daily Leader published an article in regard to the unsanitary conditions prevailing in this city and that the state board of health had taken the matter up It was no bluff Mayor Cohen said this morning there was a little time yet for people to get busy and clean up their yards and their cellars and to put their premises in a condition that would pass an examination by the health board It should be almost unnecessary to order the people to do this to inform them that their yards and outhouses are unsanitary and should be attend ed to Common decency should tell them The state board of health has a list of the places here which are in a very bad condition and if you are not sure you are on that list you should protect yourself by getting busy and cleaning up If you dont you may be arrested maintaining a nuisance Acting under orders from the state oard of health Mayor Cohen intends o commence action against everyone who is maintaining a place which is unsanitary There will probably be a systematic search made for these places and pro will follow
