they have had in years in giving them additional time to make their payments to the town collectors Usually the local Collectors are required to return their books weeks in advance of the penalty date nnd the county collector sends out another set of bills to all who have not paid the town collectors But this year Mr Lindheimer is leaving the tax in the hands of the town collectors right up to the last The township collectors are ing notice this week that they will keep their offices open until next which they will balance their books and make their return to the County treasurer by July 31 Penalty date on the first installment is August 1 There ure more items on the country town books than there are on the Chicago books and Mr heimer realizes that the work which the town collectors
