kept revolving for a bout 50 minutes At the end o that time the is drained off The butter is transferred to the worker a concave revolving table provided at one side with a pair of large rollers The steam power is ap plied and the table revolves the butter passing under the rolls Opposite the rolls is stationed a man who as that pait of the table containing the him sprinkles upon it a al amount of salt Then up paddle and ladle he works the butter and piles it up before it reaches the rollers This process is unti the L utter is worked enough to pack It is then placed in a keg and carried to t he cooling room The company now have eight wagons through the and will seon be working to their greatest capacity 1500 pounds per day This operation of making butter by steam is an inter esting one day evening On Tuesday evening he was greeted by an audience lhat was as great and as appreciative The play on the latter evening was not ol so good a character as nor did it permit Snader to so well
