Records FOR ILEANA Testimony Taken by Mag istrate After Both De fendants Waive Hearing 4 r the fact that Richardson Shoemaker Jr of Lansdowne clerk of courts at Media and William J McGarvey deputy clerk had ap earlier in day before Magistrate A C W Mathues and waived a hearing on charges of bribery and destroying certain court records the prosecutor in the case appeared yesterday afternoon and gave testimony against the two men The fact that witnesses were heard tho defendants had waived a hearing was in order to perpetuate tho testimony it was explained by the prosecution K 5461 road Brookline was one of the wit who gave testimony against two court officials Stocker along with Harry B and Wil liam Heilly of Philadelphia hud been arrested in Haverford In October on charges of driving automobiles while Intoxicated They had hearings and later Stocker charged that Mc Garvey and Shoemaker had Inti mated that the records in the cuse be destroyed for a consider ation thus preventing it from coming to trial x was called to the witness stand before Magistrate Vy J Borton who is aiding In the prosecution of the case against Shoe maker and McGarvey Stocker testi fied that
