by farmers in the Casa Grande area and other parts of the state was ordered Tuesday by State Land and Water Commissioner Roger Ernst Ernst said that action in eight cases four of them involving Casa Grande farms had been held up because the Commission was waiting on Supreme Court decisions regarding the constitu of the 1948 Ground Wa ter Code and the 1953 Ground Water Act Since it appears that the Su will be unable to give a decision on either law for quite some time Ernst said his office would wait no longer in prosecuting under the provisions of the 1945 and 1948 laws Using funds made available by the recent legislature Ernst will hire three investigators to check on all wells in the socalled cal areas set up under the vari ous legislative acts Casa who are in volved in differences
