No. 5 Highway is shown here with Glenboro further south from the bottom of the photo and Carberry north from the top of the photo. Across from where the dike was breached a second time last week you can see the water rushing over the highway and the very familiar Spruce Woods Provincial Park sign, which is still visible, in front of the clump of spruce trees. The thin line of white showing to the right as you go around the big curve towards the bridge is the super sandbags that were placed there at the end of April. There are small breaks in that dike as well that have also flowed into the bottom portion of the Kiche Manitou campground. To the left one can see the park compound and maintenance sheds and the lagoon, while further up you can see that by Marsh’s Lake the water is over the highway again.
