Chad Wytinck, pictured, was kept busy on the ice with these young skaters during one of the activities on Sunday. There hadn’t been one for the last two winters so it was fun for children and adults also. Mr. Craig was on hand to lead the activities and had lots of great ideas for races and contests. Raffles were held and many went away with something exciting. One of the highlights was a shoot- out and there was a 3- way tie with Anna Forbes, Graham McGill and Nikki Daymond finding the small slot. The other exciting event was the Grocery Scramble which had runners going for food items and collecting a variety of goodies. Lots of skaters enjoyed the comfortable temperature and easy visiting. The event was co- sponsored by Cypress Gardens and Cypress and Area Foundation. Many thanks to those who supported our project by sponsoring skaters and donating prizes and items.
