raid Saturday on a tip from the detectives Three men and a woman were arrested in Billings Monday night ing the seizure of the reefer weed Billings Police Big Marijuana Haul Made Thru The Fine Work of Local Police The past week-end can be called marijuana days for Billings which was climaxed by the arrest of three men and a woman in a planned narcotics raid by federal and city officers Monday night This followed the seizure of a valuable store of the weed valued at near Savage Mont by a federal narcotics agent on a tip from local officers Lorenzo Martinez Lara old Mexican national was arrested on his farm near Savage late and was arraigned before V S Commissioner J H Clark at Sidney on a charge ol possession and aale of marijuana Seventeen pounds of the weed which is said to be worth more than at retell were seized on Lara's farm After a preliminary hearing Lara was bound over to the next term erf federal court under bond An undercover agent of the treasury department's narcotics bureau has worked on the case for the past month following tips from the Billings police detective bureau It is said that there has been much traffic in the weed among the Mexican and other adult
