protect the honor of the states youth against charges of wholesale prostitution which have reverberated on the campus in the past 24 hours Frank Moorhead Gov Clyde L Herrings personal state agent ac companied by Al Haight an ace sleuth for the state bureau of in came here Wednesday to look into the expulsion of 23 students and closing of one for immorality The quick pace of events which followed the first shock of univer sity officials charges of wholesale immorality in a fraternity house crystallized as follows 1 The state whose legislature is now in session sought to pur sue complaints of Phi Beta Delta Jewish fraternity that other clubs were just as bad as their order which was disbanded by university officials on the testimony of two juvenile girls Incident Closed 2 A county grand jury may be called May 6 County Attorney E A Baldwin who gave the univer sity until then to clean up all im morality reports was met by Dean Robert retort that the incident was closed 3 Mayor Thomas E report his find ings to the state attorney generals office Ames Labor Council Stops Work Until Change Is Made Scarcely an hour after a apolis contractor had started for the new Ames post ofr rice at Kellogg avenue and Sixth street the Ames Labor council had brought a halt to all activity be cause two trucks brought her from Minneapolis were used on the pro ject Agreement later was reached and
