state senator who applied for relief on the grounds that he was broke because the courts were holding up legislator's pay Robert A a cratic member of the senate's finance committee was placed on the emergency relief rolls Daniel J Ryan city welfare said an investigation disclosed that Haggerty needed im- mediate assistance for himself his THE AMARILLO DAILY NEWS AMARILLO I wife and four children
