as America's fore- most road show of automotive engineering in action the exhibit was produced by Chevrolet in Detroit It will be seen during the next several months b approximately 12 lion people at Harry Franklin Derby 91 Blakesburg died Friday evening at the home of his son Kenneth in Ottumwa He had been in ing health for two months Born July 8 1870 in Wapello county near Blakesburg he was the the city council this Mother of 10 Dies in Crash Mrs Shirley Mane Vestal 32 Keokuk was killed earls Sunday morning in an automobile dent near Albia Mrs Vestal mother of 10 dren died instantly when she was thrown from a car drisen be her husband which left the road and went down a ment Also in the car was their year-old son Walter Eugene who received minor cuts and sions The father Walter Eldon tal teachers whose contracts for the school year have been withheld Four teachers in the district have not received new contracts Five others have been notified they have been placed on tion Also at the Bussey The funeral was Saturday at 2 p.m at the Methodist Church with the Rev Frank L Greenwood officiating Burial was in cemetery at sey Military graveside services conducted by the Bussey American of Des Moines and Miss Margaret Carlson of Bussey and two brothers Carl Carlson and Art Carlson of Bussey He preceded in death by his father in 1943 and a sister He served in both the Euro- pean and
