LOVING CUP Corning Young Folk Secured Silver Cup the Second Time There waa a meeting of Coming presbytery at Greenfield Monday and Tuesday of this week Mrs B M Vernon Mrs Cliff and Bliss Sadie Shaw of the Corning Federated church attended the session Tuesday the young peoples rally was held In connection with the other sessions nml the Christian En of the Corning church se cured the fine silver loving cup for the second time The cup Is given to the young peoples society having the largest attendance at the rallies also for the ones traveling the great est distance Corning had 15 young folk at the rally recently held in Red Oak and 20 at the Greenfield meeting nnd their mileage was 950 miles for the Corning C B work ers Hope they the cup next year At the young peoples banquet In Red Oak a XX CB League was organized and Everett Thompson of Corning was elected president At the rally last evening in Greenfield he presided over the meeting and in the speakers Talks were given by Paul Adams county district court is in cession this week with Judge H H Carter of Cory don presiding Up to the present time there has been little done of Import ance to he public the courts time be ing last year Master Carl and his friend Keith iMoore skating and Keith broke through some thin Ice Carl pulled him to safety before assistance arrived The matter was brought to the attention of the Ralston Purina Hero aion of St and a special medal was made for Carl who was under seven years of age tho heroic act was committed It Is a of recognizing real merit and tho is pleased that Master Gart
