average weight of that bunch of steers they're ing out There are of mem ing News Staff STIR BIRDS Pioneer Teacher And Church Leader Dies Here Sunday A Floyd County Figure Had Been Teacher Superintendent Pioneer teacher public official church leader and hatchery operator A Floyd died suddenly Sunday at the age of 82 a half century he had been a familiar figure to county residents Born at Corinth Ark May 7 1872 he came to Indian Territory in 1894 and taught at the old Newburg community near At- wood at Allen Center and Asher He served for several years as superintendent of Asher schools In 1909 he came to Ada as cipal of Irving school He was county superintendent in 1916 and served four terms During his tenure as county superintendent he worked actively for Three
