negro who was given the murder of Fred Mounger a coun ly peace officer on September 27 last The killing occurred in the Texas Central roads yards a Sherman There had been complaint of thefts from freights in the yard and Mounger who was also a yar was notified that a man was in one of the cars at night Hi went in seanch and was shot by th negro from the door of the car Vines was captured the
